The Power of 90 Members, operated by FlyAway Productions (“The Power of 90,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), is committed to protecting the privacy and safety of children and families who use our program.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when service providers process it, how long we retain it, and the choices available to parents and guardians.

Information We Collect

We may collect:

  • Parent or guardian name and email address

  • Account login and authentication information

  • Parental consent records

  • Child’s first name and age

  • Online journal entries

  • Program completion and engagement information

  • Achievement Points, rewards, and progress data

  • General safety-alert information, including the child’s name, date and time, and general safety category

  • Technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, cookies, and login activity

  • Payment and billing information processed securely by our payment provider

We do not sell or rent personal information.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Create and manage family accounts

  • Operate the journaling program

  • Provide access to program content and features

  • Generate Bartholomew’s responses and optional voice playback

  • Screen messages for potential safety concerns

  • Record participation, Achievement Points, rewards, and progress

  • Provide customer and technical support

  • Send account, safety, billing, and program communications

  • Process payments and subscriptions

  • Maintain, secure, and improve the technical operation of the platform

  • Meet legal and regulatory obligations

We do not use a child’s journal entries or Bartholomew conversations for advertising.

Children’s Privacy and Parental Consent

Child accounts are created, authorized, and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Parents control their child’s access to the program.

Before a child uses features that collect or process personal information, the parent or guardian must review the program’s notices and provide the required consent.

Parents may:

  • Review personal information maintained about their child

  • Request correction or deletion

  • Withdraw consent for future collection or use

  • Delete journal entries

  • Close the child’s profile or family account

Withdrawing consent may prevent the child from continuing to use some or all program features.

We seek to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and other applicable children’s privacy requirements. Our consent process and privacy practices will be reviewed periodically and updated when necessary.

Bartholomew Conversations and AI Processing

Messages exchanged with Bartholomew are not retained by The Power of 90 as a conversation history. Parents, children, and administrators cannot later retrieve or review the complete conversation through our platform.

To provide Bartholomew’s responses, safety screening, and optional voice playback, messages and generated responses may be securely transmitted to contracted service providers, including artificial-intelligence and voice-service providers.

These services currently may include OpenAI for safety screening, Anthropic for generating Bartholomew’s responses, and ElevenLabs for voice generation. These providers process information under their applicable commercial agreements, privacy policies, and data-retention practices.

Although The Power of 90 does not retain the conversation as history in its own system, service providers may temporarily process or retain API information as permitted by their agreements, security practices, or legal obligations.

The Power of 90 does not sell Bartholomew conversations or use them for advertising.

Safety Screening and Parent Notifications

Every message sent to Bartholomew is automatically screened for potential safety concerns. The system may classify a message as:

  • SAFE

  • MONITOR

  • BLOCK

A MONITOR result causes Bartholomew to respond more carefully without automatically notifying the parent.

When a serious concern produces a BLOCK result:

  • Bartholomew does not provide a normal conversational response

  • The child receives a fixed safety message encouraging contact with a trusted adult

  • Bartholomew becomes unavailable to that child for the remainder of the child’s local day

  • The child’s journal remains available

  • The parent receives an email and Parent Dashboard alert

  • The notification identifies the child and provides only a general safety category

  • The child’s exact words are not included in the parent notification or retained in our system as conversation history

General categories may include possible self-harm, physical danger, harm to others, weapons, abuse, coercion, or another unsafe situation.

General safety-alert information is retained only as reasonably necessary to provide the alert, support the family, operate and secure the program, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Automated safety screening is a precaution and cannot identify every possible concern. The Power of 90 is not an emergency-monitoring service and does not guarantee that every safety concern will be detected.

Journal Privacy and Storage

Online journal entries are stored as part of the family account and are private by default.

Knowing a child’s PIN alone does not provide access to that child’s journal entries. Parents may request access to their child’s information and may delete journal entries at any time.

Authorized administrators may access stored information only when reasonably necessary for technical support, safety, security, or legal compliance.

Online journal entries are retained during the program and for up to three months after the program ends, unless the parent deletes them sooner or a longer period is required by law.

Online and Paper Journaling

For online journaling, the child must enter at least one word to record participation and receive applicable Achievement Points or rewards. The online entry is stored as part of the child’s journal.

Children may instead write privately in a paper journal. The content of a paper journal is never collected or stored by The Power of 90. When using a paper journal, the child clicks Done online only to record completion and receive applicable Achievement Points or rewards.

Service Providers

We use service providers to operate the program. These may include providers of:

  • Website hosting and security

  • Payment and subscription processing

  • Email delivery

  • Artificial-intelligence responses

  • Automated safety screening

  • Text-to-speech voice generation

  • Technical support and platform maintenance

These providers receive or process only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services and are governed by their applicable agreements and privacy terms.

Payment information is handled by our payment provider. The Power of 90 does not store complete payment-card numbers.

We do not permit service providers to use children’s information for their own targeted advertising on our behalf.

Cookies and Technical Information

We may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to:

  • Keep users signed in

  • Maintain account security

  • Remember user preferences

  • Operate website features

  • Diagnose technical problems

  • Prevent fraud and misuse

We do not knowingly use children’s personal information for behavioral advertising.

Email Communications

Parents may receive:

  • Account and program updates

  • Safety notifications

  • Support messages

  • Billing, payment, and renewal notices

  • Educational content

  • Other important service communications

Parents may unsubscribe from nonessential promotional emails at any time. Safety, security, account, and billing messages may still be sent when necessary to operate the service.

Data Security

Access to personal information is limited to authorized systems, personnel, and service providers that require access to perform legitimate services.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

No internet service or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect family and child information.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the program

  • Maintain account and transaction records

  • Meet safety and security needs

  • Resolve disputes

  • Enforce agreements

  • Comply with legal obligations

Online journal entries are deleted no later than three months after the program ends unless the parent deletes them sooner or retention is legally required.

Bartholomew conversations are not retained by The Power of 90 as conversation history.

Parents may request deletion of their family account and associated child information through available account controls or by contacting us. Certain transaction, security, consent, or legal records may be retained when required or reasonably necessary.

No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell or rent personal information belonging to parents or children.

We do not share children’s personal information for targeted advertising.

Program and Safety Disclaimer

The Power of 90 is designed to provide guided journaling, personal reflection, and general encouragement.

It is not a substitute for professional medical care, psychological treatment, counseling, crisis intervention, emergency services, or direct parental supervision.

If a parent believes a child may be in immediate danger, the parent should contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the program, service providers, laws, or privacy practices change.

The updated policy will display a new “Last Updated” date. When required, we will provide parents with direct notice and obtain renewed consent before making material changes to how a child’s personal information is collected, used, or disclosed.
