Welcome to The Power of 90 Members.

The Power of 90 is a 90-day guided journaling and personal-growth program. This page explains how parents and legal guardians can support their child and manage the family account.

The Parent’s Role

A parent or legal guardian must create and manage the family account.

Parents are responsible for:

  • Creating and authorizing child profiles

  • Setting and protecting child PINs

  • Providing parental consent

  • Managing billing and cancellation

  • Supervising their child’s use of the program

  • Encouraging consistent journaling

  • Following up directly if a safety alert is received

The program is designed to support families, not replace parental involvement.

Child Profiles and PINs

Each child has a separate profile and uses a PIN to access the program.

Parents should:

  • Keep account credentials private

  • Help children protect their PINs

  • Reset a PIN if it may have been shared

  • Contact us if unauthorized access is suspected

A PIN helps protect access but should not be treated as a guarantee of complete security.

Online and Paper Journaling

Children may journal online or privately in a paper journal.

Online journaling

For online journaling, the child must enter at least one word to record participation and receive applicable Achievement Points or rewards.

Online journal entries are stored as part of the family account.

Paper journaling

When using a paper journal, the child writes privately on paper and clicks Done online to record completion and receive applicable Achievement Points or rewards.

The Power of 90 does not collect or store the contents of a child’s paper journal.

Journal Privacy

Online journal entries are private by default.

Parents may request access to their child’s information and may delete journal entries at any time, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Online journal entries are retained during the program and for up to three months after the program ends unless the parent deletes them sooner.

Authorized administrators may access stored information only when reasonably necessary for technical support, safety, security, or legal compliance.

Bartholomew

Bartholomew is an artificial-intelligence journaling guide that provides general encouragement and helps children reflect on their journal prompts.

Bartholomew is not a person, therapist, counselor, doctor, or emergency professional. Responses may sometimes be incomplete or inaccurate.

Conversations with Bartholomew are not saved by The Power of 90 as a conversation history. Messages and generated responses may be processed by contracted technology providers as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Safety Screening

Every message sent to Bartholomew is automatically screened for potential safety concerns.

If a message requires closer attention, Bartholomew may respond more carefully without notifying the parent.

If a serious concern is detected:

  • Bartholomew provides a fixed safety response

  • The child is encouraged to contact a trusted adult

  • Bartholomew becomes unavailable for the rest of the child’s local day

  • The child’s journal remains available

  • The parent receives an email and Parent Dashboard alert

  • The alert identifies a general safety category but does not include the child’s exact words

Parents should follow up directly with their child whenever they receive a safety alert.

Safety screening is a precaution and cannot detect every possible concern. The absence of an alert does not guarantee that a child is safe.

Progress and Rewards

Parents may use the Parent Dashboard to view available progress information, including:

  • Days completed

  • Achievement Points

  • Engagement information

  • Program milestones

  • Safety alerts

Achievement Points and rewards have no cash value.

Parent Account Controls

Parents may:

  • Update family and child profiles

  • Reset PINs

  • Manage billing and cancellation

  • Request access to information

  • Delete journal entries

  • Withdraw parental consent

  • Request account and data deletion

Cancellation and deletion are different:

  • Cancellation stops future renewal charges and allows access through the applicable paid period.

  • Deletion closes the account and may immediately end access.

Trial and Cancellation Reminder

When a seven-day free trial is offered, we send the parent a reminder email on the sixth day.

The parent must cancel before the trial ends to avoid the disclosed charge. Payments are final and nonrefundable once charged, except when required by law.

Cancellation is available through the account controls or by contacting us.

Not Counseling or Emergency Monitoring

The Power of 90 supports guided journaling, reflection, and personal growth.

It is not:

  • Therapy or counseling

  • Medical or psychological treatment

  • Crisis intervention

  • Emergency monitoring

  • A substitute for professional care

  • A substitute for direct parental supervision

The program is not continuously monitored by a person.

If you believe your child may be in immediate danger, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource immediately.
