Questions parents usually ask
What's included in the plans?
Yes.
Parents or grandparents can journal alongside a child — even from a distance.
Whether you’re across town or across the country, shared prompts and reflection moments make it easy to stay connected through conversation, not screens.
It’s a simple way to show up — even when you can’t be there in person.
What happens after 90 days?
Nothing automatically. There are no auto-renewals or surprise charges. At the end of 90 days, you’ll receive an email with options to continue if you’d like, but the choice is completely yours.
Is this a subscription?
No. This is a one-time purchase for a complete 90-day program. You pay once upfront (or split into monthly payments, depending on your plan) and that’s it. No automatic renewals, no ongoing charges.
When does the 90-day program start?
Your 90 days begin on Day 1 of your free trial. Your child completes the program when they finish Day 90—at their own pace, with no pressure or deadlines.
What devices work best?
The program works best on a laptop or desktop computer for the full journaling experience.
Can my child go at their own pace?
Absolutely. While new prompts are delivered daily, your child can journal whenever works best. Missed a few days? No problem—they can catch up anytime during the 90-day period. There’s no pressure to keep a perfect streak.
How much time does this take each day?
Most days take 5–10 minutes. Consistency matters more than length.
Why journaling instead of another app or video?
Journaling slows the world down. It helps a child think in their own words, at their own pace, without likes, scores, or pressure. The habit matters more than the answers.
What if my child doesn't like writing?
That’s normal. Most entries are short, flexible, and open-ended. There’s no “right” way to respond. Even a few words count.
Is my child's journal private?
Yes. Your child has their own secure, private dashboard. Parents can view progress metrics and milestones through a separate parent dashboard, but the actual journal entries remain private unless your child chooses to share them.
How does the character interact with my child?
The character from the Breaking Free story responds to your child’s journal entries with age-appropriate guidance, encouragement, and thoughtful questions—like a wise, patient companion on their journey. Every response is designed around core values like confidence, bravery, and kindness, with safeguards in place to ensure positive, supportive interactions.
Is this about performance or self-improvement?
No. It’s about awareness, confidence, and learning how to think—not fixing a child or pushing outcomes.
Can I use this for more than one child?
Each child needs their own account to receive age-appropriate prompts and have their own private dashboard. Check out our plans for multiple-child options.
Can I journal along with my child if we live apart?
Yes. Parents or grandparents can journal alongside a child—even from a distance. Whether you’re across town or across the country, shared prompts and reflection moments make it easy to stay connected through conversation, not screens. It’s a simple way to show up—even when you can’t be there in person.
Why a physical journal in a digital world?
Your child can journal digitally inside the program, and many do. We also recommend a physical journal alongside it. Writing by hand slows thinking in a different way—it helps ideas land and emotions settle. Digital supports the habit. Physical deepens it. Using both gives children the best of both worlds.

A quick walkthrough for parents.
More than a coin.
At first, it’s just something solid in their hand.
Something they earned. Something that’s theirs.
Later, it becomes a reminder.
Of starting.
Of sticking with something.
Of a season where they learned to think for themselves.
Still later, it might sit in a drawer or on a shelf —
until one day it’s picked up again and remembered.
Not as a prize.
But as a moment.
A reminder that growth doesn’t come from getting it right, it comes from showing up.
Heads they win… Tails, they win.
